A non-partisan grassroots citizen movement, which puts pressure on the Belgian government and the European institutions to take urgent and effective action to fight climate change. Rise for Climate supports the Finance-Climate Pact for massive public investments in the climate.

We have been organising citizen marchs in Belgium since September 2018.
Why mobilize ?
After the 27 January 2019 march in Brussels: the Prime Minister announced that climate would be one of the government’s priorities. Climate has been put on the agenda of all parties. The European Union and the United Nations were called upon.
